Karen Ann Larive

Karen Ann Larive, 63, Grayling, died July 2, 2017, at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital.

Funeral services were held July 6 at Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon, with Dr. David E. Hansen officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family for an educational fund for her grandsons at Immanuel Christian School.

She was born Jan. 24, 1954, in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Peter Orlean and Angeline (Marisolo) Culver.

On July 8, 1972, she and Wayne A. Larive were married in Royal Oak.

Mrs. Larive had lived in Cypress, TX from 1978 to 1983 and Ormond Beach, FL, from 1983 to 1988 before moving to St. Helen in 1988. She lived her last two years in Grayling. She was as a homemaker.

Mrs. Larive was a member of Im­manuel Baptist Church, Roscommon. She enjoyed collecting reborn dolls.

Preceding her in death were her par­ents; son, Michael John Larive; grand­daughter, Holly Larive; three brothers, John, Jim and Robert Culver; and broth­er in-law, Bill Dover.

Surviving are her husband, Wayne A. Larive; three children, Daniel (fiancé, Samantha Jacob) Larive, Christopher (Stacia) Larive of Cadillac and Angela (Kurt) Poreda of Osteen, FL; two sisters, Janice Dover of Deckerville and Debbie (Chuck) Wilson of North Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grand­children.
