82nd District Court

The following recently pleaded guilty to charges filed against them in 82nd District Court:

Brittney N. Cokewell, 22, Roscom­mon, impaired driving: 30 days in jail (credit for two days), with 28 days held in abeyance, $1,390 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

David W. Tuggle, 56, Petoskey, im­paired driving: 31 days in jail (credit for two days), with 29 days held in abey­ance, $1,390 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Thomas L. Weyandt, 64, St. Helen, impaired driving: 31 days in jail (credit for one day), with 30 days held in abey­ance, $1,390 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Shannon L. Day, 43, Gladwin, driv­ing while intoxicated: 31 days in jail (credit for two days), with 29 days held in abeyance, $1,390 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Cindi C. Williams, 51, New Hudson, driving while intoxicated: 31 days in jail (credit for two days), with 29 days held in abeyance, $1,390 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Paul G. Bertrand, 64, Higgins Lake, driving with a high blood alcohol con­tent: 31 days in jail (credit for two days), with 29 days held in abeyance, $1,570 in fines, costs or restitution, 12 months pro­bation and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Daryl D. Douglas, 56, Roscommon, possession of marijuana: $850 in fines, costs or restitution and 30 days license suspension.

Scott P. Leahy, 39, Prudenville, driv­ing with a suspended or revoked license, second offense, and possession of mari­juana: 31 days in jail (credit for 31 days), $1,300 in fines, costs or restitution and 30 days license suspension. He is to pay $1,125 in fines and costs or serve an ad­ditional 55 days in jail.

Joshua A. Nettle, 22, Clarkston, pos­session of marijuana: $875 in fines, costs or restitution and the conviction was re­ported to the Secretary of State.

Marissa A. Murphy, 21, Houghton Lake, possession of marijuana, $700 in fines, costs or restitution and 30 days li­cense suspension.

Shawn M. Perkins, 33, Bourbonnais, IL, use of marijuana: $475 in fines, costs or restitution and 30 days license suspen­sion.

Dionte W. VanPelt, 20, Detroit, use of marijuana and having no valid license in possession: $580 in fines, costs or res­titution and 30 days license suspension.

Dion T. Finley, 46, Detroit, malicious destruction of property less than $200 and driving with a suspended or revoked license, first offense: Two concurrent terms of 93 days in jail, with 30 days to be served immediately and 63 days held in abeyance, $980 in fines, costs or res­titution and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State. The sentence is concurrent with a Macomb County sentence.

Gary A. Powell, 48, Houghton Lake, domestic violence, second offense: 93 days in jail (credit for two days), with 15 days to be served immediately and 76 days held in abeyance, $1,085 in fines, costs or restitution and 12 months pro­bation.

Aleisha S. Hepfer, 37, Alger, third degree retail fraud: 30 days in jail, with 30 days to be served immediately and 20 days held in abeyance, $935 in fines, costs or restitution and 12 months proba­tion.
