Florence Mae ‘Flossie’ Lippincott Fero Stanley

Florida resident Florence Mae “Flossie” Lippincott Fero Stanley, 74, died Oct. 1, 2017, in Ft. Myers, FL.

A service will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave., Lansing, Saturday, Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

She was born in Lansing, Feb. 3, 1943, to Raymond Lippincott and Wahnetta Thompson (Moore) Lippin­cott.

She grew up at Houghton Lake with her brother, Thomas, until graduation. She became a hairstylist and worked for many years in Lansing. She later moved to Florida where she lived out her life. Fishing and living near the water were her passions.

Preceding her in death were her fa­ther Raymond Lippincott, Jan. 20, 1976; several half-siblings (Lippincotts); and one grandson, Nathan Fero, Dec. 13, 1997.

Surviving Mrs. Stanley are her moth­er, Wahnetta Moore; brother, Thomas Lippincott; son, Richard Thomas Fero; two grandsons, Ricky and Jacob Fero; many half-sisters and half-brothers; many nieces and nephews; and many great-grandchildren.
