Edward Stephen Langley

Edward Stephen Langley, 59, Roscommon, died Oct. 31, 2017, at McLaren Bay Regional Hospital, Bay City.

A service is planned for Saturday, Nov. 11, at 3 p.m. at St. Helen VFW Post 5680, with John Sutter officiating. Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon, handled ar­rangements.

He was born in Saginaw Jan. 24, 1958, to Glenn Arthur and Betty Louise (Burwash) Carlton. Before moving to Roscommon two years ago, he lived in St. Helen.

Mr. Langley worked as an indepen­dent truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, target shooting, dogs, NASCAR, camp­ing and going to Merritt Speedway.

Preceding him in death were his par­ents; and brother, Arthur Langley.

Surviving Mr. Langley are four chil­dren, Melissa Langley of St. Helen, Louise (Anthony) Cotterman of Ohio, Catherine Fitzgerald of Bay City and Eddie (fiancé Jessie Spurlock) Langley Jr. of Ohio; 10 grandchildren (with two on the way); one great-granddaughter; companion, Candy Weller of Roscom­mon; brother, Richard (Sue) Langley of Kinross; two sisters, Christine (Ray) Revord of Christmas and Kathy (Bruce) Fournier of Sault Ste. Marie; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Roscommon County Animal Shelter, 1100 Short Dr., Prudenville, MI 48651.
