John William ‘Jack’ Bourland

John William “Jack” Bour­land, 89, Cameron, MO, died Dec. 2, 2017.

A service is planned for today, (Thursday), Dec. 7, at 1 p.m. at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cam­eron, MO. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Cre­mation will follow. Inurnment will be at a later date in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Bay City.

He was born Sept. 8, 1928, in Sagi­naw, the son of John and Olive (Van-Y) Bourland. He and Beulah Powell were united in marriage Nov. 18, 1950, in Pin­conning.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He then worked as a truck driver before retiring.

Preceding him in death were his par­ents; daughter, Mary Jo Bennett; grand­son, Richard Bourland; and numerous siblings.

Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Beulah Bourland of Cameron, MO; daughters, Susan (Bob) Robinson and Molly Bourland of Cameron, MO; son, Randy (Sheri) Bourland of Houghton Lake; siblings, Robert Bourland of Es­canaba and Joanne Westendorf of Sagi­naw; 14 grandchildren; several great- and great-great-grandchildren; and aunt, Leda Woodward of West Branch.
