Linda Kay Leopard

Linda Kay Leopard, 70, St. Helen, died Dec. 3, 2017, at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital.

A service was held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, St. Helen, Dec. 5 with Pastor Ken Peterson of­ficiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for the grandchil­dren’s scholarship college funds.

She was born Oct. 5, 1947, in Pon­tiac, the daughter of Walter and Shirley (Byrne) Niedowicz. She had lived in St. Helen since 1970, having moved from Pontiac.

She was a member of Community Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary in St. Helen. She started do­ing hair when she was 39 years old and owned Linda’s Cut Above in St. Helen for 19 years.

She was a Detroit Tigers fan and liked to watch game shows and her fam­ily play ball. She adored her grandchil­dren and loved to go fishing with her family. Spending time with her family was the most important thing to her.

Preceding her in death were her par­ents.

Surviving are her son, Wally (Kristi) Sidelko of Prudenville; daughter, Katie (Rick) Rutledge of Grayling; grand­children, Cameron, Cooper, Bailey and Brock; sisters, JoAnn Wojtylko and Nancy (Dennis) Wise, both of St. Helen; and many nieces and nephews.
