The Gerrish-Higgins School District remains on strong financial ground, but declining enrollment places a cloud on the horizon. At the Nov. 14 meeting of the district’s board of education, auditor Duane Reyhl of Andrews, Hooper & Pavlic, P.L.C., said Gerrish-Higgins’ general fund balance increased during the 2006-07 fiscal year by $161,000.
