Sutton retires as judge



Judge Daniel L. Sutton, 82nd District Court judge for Roscommon County, retired May 29. Sutton began serving as a district court judge in January, 2002. He was most recently elected in November, 2014. He had previously served as the Roscommon County prosecutor, having been appointed in October, 1986. He worked in that role until December, 2001. Man flees, citizens’ help leads to arrest



As a result of citizens’ tips, deputies from the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect who fled from police in a white Ford pickup on Monday afternoon at Houghton Lake.
